25 years Techno Classica - Essen

This year the Techno Classica at Essen celebrated it's 25th birthday.

On thursday Brecht and I went there to admire some stunning cars.
On Friday I went again to take a look a the cars I missed on thursday - this time with Amaretto and Wim.

It wasn't only the Techno Classica that's celebrates a birthday: this year is also special for the K-UE! This year it's 10 years that VW Puebla stopped the production of the Aircooled Volkswagen Beetle. For this reason in july 2003 they build 3000 Ultima Edition bugs that celebrate their 10th birthday this year. For this occasion the K-UE managed to get the last (the blue  one from the Wolfsburg Museum) en the second last (the beige one from Auto Bild) bug that where build to their display at this show.

Although prices in Essen tend to be expensive, it seems that decent cars are getting
even more expensive then before: for example Samba busses and Porsche 356.
